We are Austin Petting Zoo. We feature a combination of domesticated animals and some exotic species that are docile enough to touch and feed. Our Petting Zoo is available in Austin, Houston, Dallas and San Antonio Texas areas.
We are designed to provide only relatively placid, herbivorous domesticated animals, such as sheep, goats, rabbits, or ponies, to safely feed and physically interact with. Our Petting Zoo experience also provides baby exotic animals on top of the chickens, goats, ponies and sheeps.
**PLEASE READ: Not all animals listed are guaranteed to be at every petting zoo. Rabbits will not be in the petting zoo over 90 degrees.**

RULES TO KNOW IN OUR PETTING ZOOS
We recommend closed toed shoes for the petting zoo area
- No gum or candy allowed in petting zoo area
- No food or drinks allowed in the petting zoo area
- No running, jumping or screaming
- No hopping like a kangaroo
- No chasing animals
- No picking up animals
- No sitting or laying on animals
- Only petting or brushing on the backs of the animals is allowed
- No playing in the animals waters
- Children must be within arms reach of their adult at all times

What you need to know...
-We will arrive about 15 min early to set up. Please have a close parking space for us to load and unload animals. We will be in a Van.
– ***All petting zoos must have shade provided to set up under for temps over 80 degrees. ***
-Children must be accompanied by and watched by an adult when around the animals.
-If it is raining please have a tent set up prior to arrival or we can set up in a garage. We can reschedule if possible.
-You will be able to enter the petting zoo and pet the animals so please no food or drinks inside the petting zoo.
-Not all animals are guaranteed but we do our best to make sure any special requests are granted.
-Please make plans for dogs to party away from the petting zoo.

Great party. Highly recommend. Animals were very chill and we're enjoyed by all. Joey provided info about all of the animals and made it fun for everyone. Loved Jersey, the young female kangaroo and Butterscotch the young Brama was beautiful and a big hit!

This petting zoo was a HUGE hit at my son's second birthday party.
My son enjoyed it very much, and the two staff who came to facilitate were fabulous, great with the kids, and knowledgeable. Even the adults learned a lot and enjoyed themselves.
Watching Zoe (the cute wallaby) jump into her traveling pouch was the highlight of the day- most adorable thing ever!
It could not have been more PERFECT, a memory we will all treasure for a lifetime. I will be sure to think of this traveling zoo next year - so cool that they have a variety of packages to choose from.
We loved every minute. Oh, and I contacted Courtney less than 3 weeks before the party date because my other zoo I had booked cancelled on me. She really did us a huge favor by fitting us into their schedule. Which, I'm glad the other zoo cancelled, this one was far better 🙂
